Vendetta Brimhall 14U Takes 2nd Place in Prescott Valley Tournament

Vendetta Brimhall 14U had a great weekend in tournament play in Prescott Valley.  The 14U team took an early 5 run lead in the championship game but could not hold for the win.

In Walk-off, Vendetta Brimhall 14U Loses To AZ REDHAWKS 14U

Vendetta Brimhall 14U fell to AZ REDHAWKS 14U 7-5 on Sunday on the final play of the game.  The game was tied at five with AZ REDHAWKS 14U batting in the bottom of the fourth when Tyler doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Vendetta Brimhall 14U lost despite out-hitting AZ REDHAWKS 14U 11 to seven.

Vendetta Brimhall 14U got on the board in the first inning when Abby Prinster singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the third inning, AZ REDHAWKS 14U tied things up at five when Brooklyn drew a walk, scoring one run.

Vendetta Brimhall 14U notched three runs in the second inning.  Vendetta Brimhall 14U scored its runs on a double by Mackenzie Byrum.

AZ REDHAWKS 14U scored five runs in the third inning.  Tyler, McKenzye,  #20, and Brooklyn all drove in runs in the frame.

Maddie Mullender was in the circle for Vendetta Brimhall 14U. They allowed three hits and four runs over two and a third innings, walking one.  Kimora Burnham and Danica Gutierrez entered the game as relief, throwing one-third of an inning and one-third of an inning respectively.

Vendetta Brimhall 14U collected 11 hits.  Byrum and Giselle Beriault each managed multiple hits for Vendetta Brimhall 14U.  Beriault and Byrum each collected three hits to lead Vendetta Brimhall 14U.  Vendetta Brimhall 14U didn't commit a single error in the field. Prinster had  four chances in the field, the most on the team.  Vendetta Brimhall 14U stole five bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Byrum led the way with two.

Vendetta Brimhall 14U was victorious over EV Lions, 4-1

Danica Gutierrez was in the pitcher's circle for Vendetta Brimhall 14U. They went three innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out one and walking one.

Bree Hanzal toed the rubber for EV Lions. They surrendered four runs on five hits over four innings, striking out four.

Gracie Gonzales went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Vendetta Brimhall 14U in hits.  Vendetta Brimhall 14U didn't commit a single error in the field. Kimora Burnham had  eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
