Game 1:  Vendetta – Brimhall 16U Clinches Lead in Fifth Inning for Victory Over Tucson Fury

Vendetta – Brimhall 16U nabbed the lead late in the game in a 12-9 victory over Tucson Fury on Sunday. The game was tied at nine with Vendetta – Brimhall 16U batting in the bottom of the fifth when Shantel Ortiz singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Tucson Fury scored seven runs in the fourth inning, but Vendetta – Brimhall 16U still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Tucson Fury came thanks to singles by #14 and #10, doubles by #5 and #3, and a walk by #15.

Vendetta – Brimhall 16U got on the board in the first inning when Sarah Potter doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Mya Caldwell was the winning pitcher for Vendetta – Brimhall 16U. Caldwell lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and four runs while striking out one and walking zero.

#2 took the loss for Tucson Fury. #2 lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing 14 hits and 12 runs while striking out one and walking one.

Game 2: Beriault’s Walk-off Seals the Deal in Vendetta – Brimhall 16U Victory Over Punishers 16U

Vendetta – Brimhall 16U took Sunday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 5-4 walk-off victory over Punishers 16U. Vendetta – Brimhall 16U was down 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Giselle Beriault singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.

Mya Caldwell took the win for Vendetta – Brimhall 16U. Caldwell lasted one inning, allowing one hit and zero runs while walking zero.

#45 took the loss for Punishers 16U. #45 surrendered five runs on nine hits over four and a third innings, striking out five.

Jordan Eulate started the game for Vendetta – Brimhall 16U. Eulate went four innings, allowing four runs on 11 hits, striking out two and walking one
